In keeping with Virginia Tech's commitment to grow a diverse and inclusive community a resource has been created to assist in identifying ongoing diversity initiatives.
The Diversity Opportunities and Outcomes Resource (DOOR) is a searchable, on-line database designed to provide information on diversity-related programs and advance university goals as found in the Diversity Strategic Plan.
Efforts related to the four domains of Diversity Strategic Plan, Access and Success, Education and Scholarship, Campus Climate, and Institutional Infrastructure can be entered/submitted to, and edited into the database by designees across the university.
Additionally, the DOOR provides a space for the collection of success stories, pictures, and data on program outcomes for use in campus reports and promotional purposes. For more information on how to become a designee for the DOOR, contact the Office for Diversity and Inclusion at firstname.lastname@example.org.
